CASA LA ALEGRIA
A restful stay, leads to another bright day
Each of our beautiful rooms have been thoughtfully designed, taking inspiration from our rural surroundings, with touches of contemporary features. We have aimed to create an environment where you will feel in blissful comfort, so that you wake truly rested and ready to enjoy the day.
Each of our rooms are named after horses owned by Jon over the last 30 years. There is a story to be told behind each of the rooms and of course the horse!
THE BLUE ROOM
In the main cottage is the Blue Room. A bright sunny, king-size double which bursts with natural light thanks to the double aspect window. The blue room offers its guests direct access to the patio that leads onto a private corner of our large courtyard. This bedroom is beamed and typical Spanish in style and décor, yet fully refurbished to modern standards.

Los Establos
Across the courtyard is a separate cottage ‘Los Establos’ a transformation of the former stable block. Los Establos features a large newly refurbished guests lounge with a beautiful, beamed ceiling and a large log burner stove for those cooler winter months. Here you can enjoy a comfortable space to relax, complete with sofas, coffee tables, dining table, TV and board games and jigsaws for a cosy night indoors.
Alternatively, from the lounge access there is direct access to the rear terrace with a rattan seating and dining area that enjoy views of the garden, orchard, olive groves and surrounding mountains. A stunning alfresco space offering peace and tranquillity for your entire stay.
The stables lounge connects to our two bedrooms Carmen and Blake.
CARMEN
A very large room with a high ceiling which enjoys the warm sun in the mornings. This totally refurbished space has quite a contemporary feel and includes a large feature chandelier which gives the room a certain ambience and decorative wall tiles provided by local artist Deborah Cotesworth.

A double room with high ceilings which keeps cool and airy in the hot summer months. The room has been newly refurbished and includes a luxury ensuite shower room

BREAKFAST AT CASA LA ALEGRIA
A Continental Breakfast is included in the room rate, served
from 8:00 – 10:00hrs.

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″] Everyone traditionally enjoys a Sunday cooked breakfast, so here at Casa La Alegria we are honoring this tradition with our Sunday Special alternatives (though you can still opt for the Continental Breakfast should you wish):- Smoked salmon & scrambled eggs served with fresh dill and warm toast of your choice
- Eggs Benedict
- Eggs Royale
- Poached / scrambled eggs on toast with bacon or mushrooms
- Smashed avocado topped with or without bacon & poached egg
- Shakshuka – combining peppers, garlic, tomato, feta cheese, topped with a poached egg and sprinkling of herbs/spices.
- Served with toast & the normal hot & cold beverages of your choice. [/vc_column]

We cater for vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs and other allergens. Simply make your hosts aware of any dietary requirements at time of booking.

Check In Time: From 14:00. Check Out Time: Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure.
Airport transfers can be arranged via a local taxi company to and from Malaga and Granada Airports.

Easy access for less mobile
Our guesthouse offers easy access to the communal lounge, courtyard, outdoor pool and one of the bedrooms. The other two bedrooms can be accessed via one step. This makes our establishment a good choice for the less mobile.
